Six journeys that either open a market or close a deal that is already in the pipeline

Each one started as an idea in the 20 Oct triage, was checked against the live deal list, the ClickUp boards and the backend repo, and is drawn here as the screens a customer or a teammate would actually see, including the loading, empty, error and "not sure it went through" states.

The six, and who they are for

JourneyCloses or opensScreensBuild size
SF Smart Fill: fill a roof to a target kW on the best facesThe 90% of inbound that come for "AI"; a years-old Arka ask from commercial designers; the REI demo11S to M
TB US and Canada tariffs: real rate, bill reproduced, demand charges, depreciationUnited Sun Energy (paid, ex-Energy Toolbase), the Canadian C&I account, every ETB refugee13M
LB Arka Lifeboat: switch without redrawingShivalik, Stage Zero, WRS, Rajat Tyagi and the 200-300 accounts still paying Arka9S (commercial) + HGE designer hours
DQ Demo qualifier and paid pilotClosure rate on the existing 28 demos a week; frees Vikram, Santhosh and Tanya from demos that never convert10S
WA Bill to proposal on WhatsApp, internal pilotHGE's Hindi and Gujarati lead volume; the real "AI" story once bill accuracy is proven10M
API Integrations: a partner lead becomes a projectLuminous (closes on the contract), Excite, Tata9M (contract doc is S)

S is under two team-weeks, M two to six. Sizes are from what the backend has today, not from the screen count.

What the backend already has, and what it does not

Exists today (dev, 24 Oct)
  • Annual irradiation per panel on the heatmap API (15 Oct). Smart Fill ranks faces with it.
  • Tax Benefits engine: MACRS plus bonus for the US, WDV 40% for India (PR #333, 23 Oct). TB09 is mostly a UI job; ISS-59 can close.
  • The TOU night-generation bug (ISS-125) is recorded as fixed on fix/billing-rulings; confirm on the deployed build.
  • 15-minute interval upload; utility tariffs with TOU periods, tiers, fixed charge, escalation and a country/state filter.
  • Project model with Customer Inquiry as the first status; editable TSL structures (6 Oct); semi-automatic stringing (12 Oct).
Does not exist (needs backend work)
  • A capacity-constrained fill algorithm and a face-ranking service (SF).
  • Any demand-charge field or demand billing; US/Canada rate library with location lookup, source and version; bill reproduction; tariff CSV import (TB).
  • Redraw requests, queue, credit rules, an HGE design-services role, an Arka-look template (LB).
  • A demo-request record with ordered routing rules and audited overrides; pilot entitlement and licence credit (DQ).
  • WhatsApp Business provider, per-family bill OCR, agent run log with field provenance, grading model, sanity-check stops (WA).
  • API keys (org-scoped, hashed), create-project-from-lead, webhooks with retries, held-lead review, external_id on Project (API).

Rules the screens commit to

  1. Say "AI-assisted", never "AI designs for you". Smart Fill explains why it chose each face.
  2. Prove the tariff before the pitch. TB04 reproduces last month's bill within a stated percentage, and TB05 shows the honest miss.
  3. Demand savings are shown apart from energy savings, and only with 15-minute data behind them.
  4. A bill family goes live to customers at 95% field accuracy over 50 bills, and only after the financial-maths bugs are closed. Until then HGE designers grade every run.
  5. Bad leads are held, not created. Duplicate phones and addresses that cannot be geocoded go to a review queue.
  6. Only commercial leads in countries that convert get a live demo. Everyone else gets a next step that costs no sales hours.
  7. No Arka import is promised. The redraw is done by people, against the source file, and the customer approves each one.
